Answers!
  1. Victoria is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.

  2. Acting for the Screen courses run for 34 weeks three times a year with intakes in January, May and September.

    The Film Program has three intakes with the course length being 34 weeks. Intakes are late January, May and September.

  3. Students are provided with contact information and names in the industry where they might seek employment. Instructors will provide information regarding job shadowing, positions which come available and references regarding student abilities. VMPS is notified of incoming productions and many of these will provide opportunities for students to obtain work experience.

  4. Funding is available to qualified students by way of student loans, HRDC grants and First Nations Bands. There is also alternative sources of funding available by way of private companies which will finance tuition at varying rates of interest and banks with SLC (Student Line of Credit). Students requiring alternative sources of financing should contact VMPS administration for more information.

  5. Personal payment plans of tuition are only those that come via funding agencies. VMPS does not have special arrangements for tuition payments.

  6. Fee Currency for both Canadian and International applicants is in Canadian Dollars.

  7. For registrations paid in advance of course start dates there are discounts for both programs.

  8. Part-time courses are offered during the summer months and evenings and weekends during the fall and winter months.

  9. The school will advertise within the student body of any part-time employment opportunities of which it is notified.

  10. The classroom instruction hours for students are 9:00am - 11:30am and 1:00pm - 3:30pm. The school is open from 8:30am to 9:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm Friday and 10:00am to 2:00pm Saturdays. Students are able to book equipment and facilities outside of classroom instruction hours and during the hours the school is open.

  11. The TC's are on hand and available to assist students during the hours the school is open.
