Sean's Compuer Graphics career started in grade 3 when a classmate of his introduce him a couple peices of painting, illustrating and 3D rendering software. Though the software was fairly basic and not user friendly back then, it was more enough for a guy who knew nothing about it to chew on. 3D modelling, animation and rendering had been just a hobby for Sean until he got to Mount Douglas Senior Secondary school where he took their career prep program in competer aided drafting (CAD). Although he didn't learn or use much 3D in that program, his career path was clearer than ever. After graduating that program with an award and a scholaraship in new media, Sean went on to work at Number Ten Architectural Group. There his primary job was drafting, but once in a while he got to do 3D rendering. It was then that he realized that he enjoyed the 3D work more than any of the other work and had to further his knowledge in that direction. This lead him to take a diploma course in 3D animation where he learned a wealth of knowledge and skills and gradated with an award for his animated short. Sean has been working in the industry for the past 6 year doing Architectural Render and Animation with Neilson Digital Inc. Sean is also well versed in Flash and PHP programming and has used them to make many websites, interactive presentations and touch screen presentations.
"I went to school to learn. I went to work to use what I had learned and found I learned there too. Now I am at school to teach and know that I will learn much here. It is my goal to teach my student to passionately pursue learning whether in the classroom or not."
Apart from teaching 3D Sean also bboys, plays or sings in a few bands around town, races his cars at autoX or lapping days, and is a mentor to the youth.
